Dr. Charles Asher Small

Dr. Charles Asher Small is the founding Director and President of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP). He is also a Visiting Professor at the Moshe Dayan Centre for Middle East and African Studies, Tel Aviv University.

Charles convened groundbreaking academic seminar series in the emerging field of contemporary antisemitism studies at Columbia University, Harvard University, McGill University, Sapienza University, Rome, the Sorbonne and the CNRS, Paris, Stanford University, Yale University, as well as a training programme for professors at Hertford College and St. Antony’s College, Oxford.

Charles is the author of multiple books and articles on antisemitism. He is committed to creating scholarly programming and research on contemporary antisemitism at top tier universities internationally, and establishing contemporary antisemitism studies as a recognized academic discipline.
