Boundary Training: Healthy Relationships in Ministry

Friday, August 26, 2016 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Brite Divinity School will offer Boundary Training: Healthy Relationships in Ministry on August 26 from 9:00 to 4:00. The workshop will be held in the Bass Conference Center at Brite Divinity School. This training will cover such things as: discerning the importance of healthy boundaries for building community; identifying behavior in self and others that can potentially compromise healthy relationships; developing professional ethics that sustain ministry; examining the dynamics in communities where clergy misconduct has occurred; and creating strategies for maintaining healthy relationships with self, others, and God. This workshop is intended to meet boundary training criteria for ministerial standing; however, it is the participant’s responsibility to verify with their judicatory whether or not this workshop satisfies professional standing requirements.

A certificate will be given at the end of the workshop for six contact hours of continuing education in boundary training.
