Dear Friends,

I invite you to join in a celebration of the life and ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with the Brite Divinity School at TCU. Tomorrow, we will begin the spring semester’s series of Tuesday worship services with this special celebration, including readings from Dr. King’s writings and speeches, headlines from the Civil Rights Movement, special music from the African-American tradition and from the Movement, and a sermon by M.Div. senior Lionel Bailey, “Strength to Love.”

Come worship, celebrate, and remember as we explore the relevance of Dr. King’s ministry and his dream of the Beloved Community in the context of Christian faith and its challenge for us today. The service begins Tuesday, January 19, at 11:00 a.m. in Robert Carr Chapel. All are welcome.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Rev. Michael Riggs
Acting Director of Chapel
