National Evangelism Workshop

April 6, 2011

Hi, Friends!

I’m writing this evening to make sure you and the students you serve know about the biennial National Evangelism Workshop (NEW), to be held in Nashville this July 8-9. Years ago when I was a layperson, my pastor noted the importance of attending NEW and I soon understood why. In the years since, I’ve recommended it to every congregation I’ve served as a pastor or middle-judicatory minister because in the thirty-plus years of NEW’s existence, it has worked to present workshops that are relevant and practical with something for just about everyone.

And this year will be no different. We are excited to announce our two world-class Keynoters: Ed Stetzer and Bill Easum. In addition, we currently have over twenty-five workshops lined-up and ready to go, led by folks who are either successfully engaging evangelism or who are now successfully consulting and/or coaching others who are “in the trenches” and on the front lines of congregational ministry. Workshops have been planned with small, medium, and large congregations in mind; with something for everyone, whether they serve in a rural, town, suburban, or urban setting. In addition, several workshops are geared specifically for judicatories who are looking for ways to be, or become, effective and sustainable.

Below you’ll find more information (and note that the Early Bird Special ends April 30th). I’ve also attached a flyer for circulating (which you can also access at http://bit.ly/gJs3Zj), and an “ad” we’ve been using in our Area newsletter. You can also get more information at www.NationalEvangelismWorkshop.com or by emailing neaoffice@nationalevangelisticassociation.com. As well, feel free to forward this email to anyone you think might benefit from this year’s event.  And, please, email or call me (573.881.7588 is my cell number) should you have any questions. Thank you for regarding this note and I’ll hope to see you in Nashville this July!

Graciously, Kris Tenny-Brittian
