Paper Call: Philosophy

Purlieu: A Philosophical Journal is a special opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to publish their independent work. We welcome all submissions which offer original, creative essays about thinkers, people, and our world, from perspectives including, but not limited to: Political Science, Ecology, Literature, Education, Communication Studies, Linguistics, Sociology, Anthropology, Gender & Sexual Studies, Urban Studies, and Psychology. Papers will be judged on: clarity of thesis and arguments, and philosophical relevance and published physically and/or electronically.

The inaugural issue premiers in September 2010. Abstracts (700 words) are due by June 7th, 2010.
