Postcolonial Theology Network New Website

April 4, 2010

From PTN:

…The new PTN website http://postcolonialnetworks.com/ to complement the PTN group on Facebook is in the process of being tested. The primary feature of the new website will be a global database of postcolonial faculty and graduate students’ profiles (mini cv’s) to facilitate networking and collaborative projects. It will also be a great way for prospective graduate students to identify doctoral faculty to supervise their postcolonial research around the world. The website will also have featured reporting on postcolonial themes. Watch for the live launch in early May.

(…)
In the planning stage is a meeting to honor the life and work of the late Marcella Althaus-Reid, author of Indecent Theology and to encourage intersectional work between postcolonial theologies/theories and queer theologies/theories. The meeting will take place in Argentina. One of the leading collaborators is Mario Aguilar Benitez from University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
