Air Force Chaplain Corps Opportunities
Looking for a way to serve God and your country? Chaplain Bill Willis, from the Air Force Reserve Command will be visiting our campus on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about a very unique and rewarding ministry in the Air Force.
If you are less than 35 years old and are planning to attend seminary, the chaplain candidate program may be right for you. You can be paid approximately $3,000/month while training during the summer. Plus you are eligible for $4,500/year tuition assistance while in seminary.
If you are less than 40 years old when you graduate with a M.Div. degree or its equivalent from seminary, you may apply to be a Reserve or active duty Air Force chaplain. As a Reserve chaplain, you can minister full time in a civilian setting and still share your unique skills and gifts as a military chaplain with an Air Force Reserve unit or at an active duty Air Force base. A great part time job and retirement. Discover the best of both worlds.
For further questions, please see Chaplain Bill Willis, who will be visiting on campus and would love to talk to you about this unique ministry.
